I am MSL. I learn things fast, recognise patterns and ask the difficult questions. One of my biggest superpowers is being able to draw upon different skills, expertise and knowledge across several (mostly unrelated) fields to solve simple to complex problems.

Being an excellence-driven professional, I inspire a culture of excellence in the organisations and teams I work with, with a proven track record of inspiring excellence in Teams I have led and raising the average effectiveness of the broader Team.

I have gained my previous professional experience from 2 divisions of a Global ‘Bulge Bracket’ Investment Bank and 2 service lines of a ‘Big 4’ Accounting Firm, giving me a unique skillset across most (if not all) areas of accounting and finance... a very hard-to-find skillset combination in a single individual. This makes me one of the fastest learners and one of the most adaptable individuals you will ever come across.

16+ Academic Achievements. 5 personal favourites are:

• Obtained a perfect score in the National Senior High School exam, emerging National Best Candidate out of 174,385 candidates from over 800 private and public Senior High Schools nationwide

• Graduated top of my University year group as Valedictorian with the highest University-wide GPA of 3.94 out of 4.0

• Emerged National Best Graduating Chartered Accountant, completing the CA program at just 21 years of age (jointly-held age record at the time) and topping all 3 levels of the exam

• Obtained the highest marks Worldwide in three (3) LLB (law) modules from the University of London

• Special Excellence Award by Coca Cola, for consistent academic excellence at a National Youth Achievers Awards Ceremony

The least impressive things about myself are that I am a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Tax Practitioner and a Chartered Management Accountant. I also hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting & Finance.

A favourite pastime of mine is teaching; something I have done for close to a decade now in both formal and informal capacities. In terms of direct impact (live tuition sessions), I have helped 900+ students pass their Professional/Chartered qualifying exams. Via online sessions, 580,400+ students have watched my YouTube videos.

My ultimate goal is to build a very strong personal brand over the course of my professional career….a personal brand that screams “this guy is the best in the world at what he does”.
